Because it’s the first time I’ve been to the barbershop since January 2020. No, my hair wasn’t 24 inches long. But ever since the virus hit in January 2020, the FIL insisted either he or my wife’s aunt cut my hair at our home. He was convinced that barbershops were a den of multiple COVID variants and too dangerous to visit.

Did they do a good job?

They took a pic

They both did a great job, that was exactly the look I was going for!

Actually my wife’s aunt used to own a hair salon, she’s very professional. She’s retired now. And the FIL learned how to cut hair in college. When he was in college most students were poor and he would cut their hair for a low price to make a little money. So he became competent at it, well, for one style only, a military cut. And that was fine for me.

I cut my own hair.  A 2 on top and a 1 everywhere else.  Bing.  Bang.  Boom.  Done.  I think I’ve been to a barber once since 1998.

I tried that a couple of times. Same numbers. But my wife said my transition from the 2 to 1 was not even.

And no, I would not allow to try to fix it. She can do a lot of things, but this isn’t one of them.

My wife always claims it looks good, but who knows.  I've probably been walking around looking like a mental patient for decades now, but she never says anything.  So, all good afaik.   Big Grin

Does she suggest that you should wear a hat, a lot?  Like every time you leave the house?

No longer GroupThink 'woke'.  but it was fun while it lasted.

Anyone here tracking the back and forth between Peter Hotez and Joe Rogan over the weekend?

Hotez has been offered close to $1m to debate RFK on Rogan's show and Hotez is running like a beat dog.

Sure seems odd that someone so firm in his beliefs rooted in the science is so scared of a middle school drop out like RFK.

You do not debate the insane. You don't debate antivaxxetards or creationists for instance. It implies they have something to debate. Retarded Fuchhead Kennedy, Jr. has nothing to say that isn't just idiocy so you either ignore or insult. Debating him implies you take him seriously. It implies a false equivalency and would make it seem fools should be taken seriously. I'll let him speak, sort of, for himself. Needs no comment but if you think he's not a loon, seek help yourself.

Never, ever debate conspiracy theorists in public.  Their arsenal of crazy makes it impossible to win.

It is an unwritten rule not to debate creationists, antivaxxetards, or other conspiracy kooks among scientists and physicians. There is no reason to imply they have anything that needs to be debated. They don't.
