I can officially report that the FIL survived the fight of his life. OK, maybe that was a tad bid dramatic. Anyway, after several days of bed rest, he was up and mobile today. The wifey is fine and all I have now is a runny nose. So, we're not dead yet. But we all gave XBB the middle finger. Like, yeah! Run off you coward!!!

As a side note, there have been massive predictions of new infections of COVID variant XBB in China. Maybe elsewhere, but so far we're not seeing it. But it does seem to be hitting the people that never got COVID before.
