Remember that personnel policies are not a contract but a guideline that can be changed whenever the employer desires to use it against you.

We donâ€t get paid sick days.  So we canâ€t/donâ€t abuse them.

Doesnâ€t require union membership to be a POS.  Sans vacation time, No worky no pay with our contract

I get 4 weeks of vacation and have yet to take more than 2… tend to cash it out or roll hours over.
Can the law — which necessarily requires the use of force — rationally be used for anything except protecting the rights of everyone? … A citizen cannot at the same time be free and not free.

I work 187 days a year.

Every year I get 5 sick days paid by the state 5 local sick days.

If I change districts, state days follow me. If I stay, Iâ€ll get paid $200 per sick day at retirement up to 100 days. When I take off use state days first. I have 87 total sick days ( 74 local) so I basically have to finish the next 5 years here.

Hopefully I finish with 99 local sick days.
