Most scholars believe itâ€s speaking of Moses and Elijah as they represent the Torah and the Prophets, and as you know they were on the mount of transfiguration with Christ also.
The only issue with that is, while Elijah was taken up, Moses died. So if you consider the verse in
Hebrews 9:27 “And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,” Moses doesnâ€t seem to work. So the only other person that did not die is Enoch.
So itâ€s either Moses and Elijah or Enoch and Elijah

Check back in a couple hours.  I want to give you another opinion.
I'll be home and can link some things.
It's very very interesting and I think you'll enjoy watching it.
Have you ever heard of Jerren Lewis?  AoC Network?

I always thought they were Enoch and Elijah because they never died and were taken straight up to Heaven.  I held firm to that belief until I watched this above video.
I listen to Jerren Lewis quite a bit.  He is very good.  Tell me what you think after watching this (if you have time but it's well worth it, trust me).  It may change your views on who the two witnesses are.  It did mine and my wifes.

Ok. Give me a couple days Iâ€ll try to remember to listen to it on the way to work this weekend .

It'll make you rethink on who you think the 2 witness are.
It basically shows where the Bible says the 2 witness are the 2 olive trees. Throughout the Bible 2 olive trees are Jew's and Gentiles.
They are actually God's Christians during the end of times in the 1st part of the tribulation, 3 1/2 years.  They will be allowed to witness without being hurt/killed during this period.
I think you'll like listening to this guy.  I know I do.

Interesting, Iâ€ll have to take a listen as well. Iâ€ve always heard Enoch and Elijah for the reasons given above

No longer GroupThink 'woke'.  but it was fun while it lasted.

If you have the time start watching some of his videos.  He feels God is using him to do these video series.
I'm very skeptical on who I listen to and I try to vet pastors before I put stock into what they are saying.  I've not found anything non scriptural about him so far.
