That's not what Day wants to run. I also really think he would get a HC job, at UC, or elsewhere if he wants one. Kelly already offered him the DC position at LSU, so we'll see what happens. I'd like to see him @ OSU, but I think it is unlikely.
If I were to guess, I think Day will reach into the Meyer coaching tree and get Ash or Muschamp.

i about drove into the Lake laughing In a situation like this, you must resist any laughter and instead state solemnly that it is The Great Northern Ocean. Then find an opportunity to bring up the issue in a group and then lead him into saying about having seen The Great Northern Ocean. At that point, the whole room erupts in laughter.Â
And yes, I love a good prank.

Many of us thought the same thing. Freeman is the new ND coach.

Fickell apparently wouldn't talk with ND until Cinti's season is over. They should have waited.

Fickel's loyalty to see things through to the finish line should be viewed as a positive attribute.

Notre Dame did themselves a grave disservice by not opening the process, being patient and talking to Fickell. Maybe it will work out for them but the chances are not great. We have seen hiring like this in other programs and it never works out. Louisville did it way back with Ron Cooper. Total train wreck on and off the field up to his charity golf outing with hookers.

Day and Riley were affirmative action hires?

Day and Riley were affirmative action hires? They were in the same situation. Just because he's black makes it different from those two?
