It makes no sense and the damage is greater than reward. I hope he gets as harsh a penalty as possible. I know it will be a slap on the wrist. Hopefully he never works again.

Most hate crime allegations are hoaxes but people still stage them and the media still runs with them no matter how much of a fraud it is proven to be.  Most real hate crimes are by blacks attacking other races but the media will never say it and those attacks are rarely charged as hate crimes.  Look at the environment we live in.  Nearly every hate crime against Asians is by blacks yet the media refuses to tell the truth and sticks with the narrative that white people are doing it.

Agreed. He might be a great actor, but he is a terrible writer. That's the worst story plot ever.
