Cincinnati won't run through the new Big12 as they have through the AAC. Who is the big dog?  Oklahoma State?  They arenâ€t perennial winners although theyâ€ve had some good ones.
OSU2 and BYU are the most "prestigious" football programs in the new Big 12.Â
Cincy can hang with either of them.

OU insiders saying Riley checked out half way through the season as he had no input in the move going to the sec.
Mark is probably not their first pick, but they could certainly do a lot worse!

I'm not saying that they can't or won't beat ntOSU, but are they going to beat them and then Baylor and then Kansas State and then Taco Tech and then Iowa State, etc., etc., etc.? They would have lost a game if they had played all of those teams this year.

Dan Patrick just reported that Riley took the ENTIRE staff from Oklahoma to USC.
That is an empty building this morning. No wonder they were so quick to get Bob Stoops back on campus.

Massive culture shock coming for those families moving to LA.

Cincinnati is filled with seniors from last season who got a free year to return. We'll see what it does next season. Same scenario with Iowa.

Recruiting is the problem for Cinti. You can build a good team by accumulating players over a few years but I can't see them maintaining it when your recruiting classes rarely crack the top 40.

Massive culture shock coming for those families moving to LA. That was the main thing that surprised me. Those guys don't seem the Hollywood lifestyle Pete Carroll types. LA is flat out a nasty horrible place to live or even visit. The only people that want to be there are heroin addicts and Hollywood celebrity types.

Yup. Teams like Cincinnati have to wait until players reach 4th and 5th seasons. Just 2 years ago Memphis beat Cincinnati in the regular season and AAC title game. Cincinnati is going to have to season its players. It can't reload like the elite P5 programs.

They definitely won't be living anywhere near the campus.

True but how much will that help their recruiting? Theoretically it should help but there are examples where moving to a P5 literally did nothing in that regard for a school.
