Ignoring the lie of the existence free will, this person, like many religious people, aren't breaking this down far enough...

One of the biggest challenges for many Christians, as it was for me, is the issue of suffering and death. Why does God allow good people to suffer while garbage people do not. Why do good people die too soon in life while garbage people live to be 100. Why do innocent children suffer and die in conditions that many of us are you as unacceptable for animals?

At one time, as is noted in the bible, many believed that pain and suffering were a punishment from God. Like many other unacceptable concepts, that belief has largely been pushed to the side and Christians generally believe that the pain and suffering of innocent children and legitimately good people is just the results of the free will we were supposedly given. However, as the person in the video noted, we were not given, per se, free will. God sets up Adam and Eve, knowing that they were going to fail (because God does see and know everything, after all), which would result in the very free will that is now used as an excuse for pain and suffering of people that really don't deserve pain and suffering.

I don't know, Pitch. Life is a mystery. I wish I had the answers.

^^^additionally^^^

Christians are told that God is all powerful, all loving and all graceful, yet he sits by and watches millions of children die of starvation and murder, every year, and does nothing about it, while Christians allow him to hide behind the excuse of free will which he put into place by setting up Adam and Eve.

With a straight face, this is the stuff that the person in the above tick tock video and millions like him buy into.

As a child, I scraped my knee on the sidewalk. I was horrified, traumatized, and thought my world had come to an end.  As an adult, I look back and laugh and understand that's just a part of life.  Perhaps it's that way once we're in Heaven.  Perhaps we learn from our own experiences as well as the experiences of others. And perhaps those experiences are necessary for us to achieve full glorification.

So, maybe I will just beat the ***** out of my kids because Christmas is coming?  That way they will really appreciate it!  I mean, if psychopathic reasoning is okay for your god, is it not okay for me also?

You are also forgetting the fact that the majority of the kids that die and starve to death every year are not going to heaven because they were born to the wrong parents, in the wrong part of the world, and believe in the wrong God.. whatever degree children are even able to believe in a god, of course.

Maybe we need to live on this side of the tracks to better appreciate what we will have in the future.

Why do you believe that you so fervently and religiously attack God?

Over fall break, we took our kids on a week-long trip to New York City. If you've ever been to New York city, you know that the cost of food there is absolutely insane. A very typical breakfast is going to run you 80 bucks at one of the little cafes in the area. If I was the Christian god, according to how Christians portray him, I would be justified in not feeding my kids the week prior to our trip, to ensure that they truly appreciated the food they were getting in New York. Does that make any kind of sense?

Sounds psychotic, doesn't it  Smile

Why do you believe that you so fervently and religiously attack God?

Because his behavior justifies it... Every.. single.. day.

If it was eating from the tree of knowledge that gave man free will to choose, then how did he "choose" to eat from the tree of knowledge before he had the free will to choose?

Even on the dark side  I think you are probably a great guy in real life.  However, if I found out that you stood by and watched a grown man rape a 10 year old girl, when you could have stopped it with a wiggle of your nose, I'd have to then say that you are not a great guy.

In what way am I on "the darkside"?
