I know you're just playing, but that implies incompetence when these people know exactly what they are doing.  I think they're more like the guys that strap suicide bombs onto other people.

They want to limit mobility so that everyone has to live in a cramped urban environment getting around in a little electric car or walking or with a bicycle. They want to control your food and everything you consume.  They want to control everything you see and hear.  Everything they are doing is designed to control you by limiting your options.  People who have the freedom to make choices are dangerous and cannot be tolerated.

Yup. Local tv news keeps reporting on 'how to make small spaces bigger' type segments. It's just like the commercial that had some dude saying 'less is actually more'. Only low I.Q. and those dependent on government for everything believe that burfle.

Ahhhh yes, when equality reigned.  Everyone was starving at the same rate.  It was true fairness.  Bernie would've loved it there.

I still saw many fat people. I'm guessing they were family members of Stasi. These same people filled the schools, government, and other areas of the West when the Wall fell. Anybody actually believe people in the West all of a sudden started pushing towards socialism/marxism on their own?

I was there in 1985. The chunkers you saw had to be from the elite. People I met were all pretty thin. The second time I was there I joined in with a group of grad students from Miami University (Ohio) who had some permission to see a few places. It was a gray and grim urban landscape. Traffic lights provided most of the most color I saw. 

First time I was there I arrived from Prague before sunrise and I zigged when I should have zagged. I literally started walking toward the minefield parallel to the Berlin Wall. A very shocked soldier stopped me, pointed forward and said, “Nein, nein, nein, boom!!!” I turned around.
