I had high hopes for him, based on his resume. I had been surprised he was on the end of the bench. Hopefully, this was the start of his emergence as a Buckeye.

I was excited when I went to put game on my phone driving home from an event last night that game was at 9:30 so I didn†t start until 9:30. Coming off the Michigan game, I just wasn†t up for watching second half after some really frustrating guard play so I skipped the second half.Â
I know I was one of the few D Washington defenders here, but with him we are a top five/ten team and probably still undefeated. With out, we are what we are, anywhere between 10-30 any given night.
Whoever mentioned the FLA loss really hurting, not in the least. To add, WGAS about ranking right now. FLA will be a quadrant 1 loss. Will have very little effect on seeding. Hopefully X continues to play well, staying in quadrant 1. Â Another ass whooping delivered by B1G over ACC will help league profile and league games will be more important. A road or even home win over Sparty will be more valuable than had we won a neutral site FLA game.

Justice Sueing is a bigger loss than DWash. Probably much bigger. DW had a very low basketball IQ.

DW attacked the rim, and that was his mentality. He could get his own shot. Teams need that. I will disagree with very low hoops IQ. He took some bad shots, and sometimes got himself in bad spots on his attack and turned it over. That is basketball, and his roll prompted it.Â
I think the biggest thing Sueing will bring is his handle and ability to attack. Usually heavy ball pressure can be offset by making teams pay when it doesn†t work. When the Bucks get out of sticky situations they don†t seem to take advantage of overloads and just get to running the offense.Â
To add, Branham may develop to that. Whether Sueing or him, to be elite we need another beside EJ that can go get a bucket. On the plus side, this team is a better on ball defending team so there is that.

That loss could have a huge effect on seeding. A neutral site win against FLA would be another nice mark on the resume. The loss doesn't hurt, insofar as it won't count as a "bad loss" against us, but the win could have elevated us. I don't know exactly how many games we play, but if we finish 21-9 with a win against FLA, as opposed to 20-10 with the loss to them, that could be the difference between a 5-7 seed and an 8-9 seed. 5-7 seeds historically have a ~63% chance of winning. 8-9 seeds are basically coinflips.

We will have so many quadrant 1 games, this will be but a blip, no way it would have a 3 line effect from 5 to 8. I good example is looking at conference tournament losses and how they mostly have 0 effect. This probably wonâ€t have a full seed line effect, but where on that line. If we both end up at 5 then, FLA will be the higher 5…but by then match ups, spacing out conference foes, and other things go into it seeding.

A 5 to an 8 may be a little bit of a stretch, but the difference between a 7 seed and an 8 seed is historically about a 11% difference in winning the first round game. That's pretty substantial.

ChinaBuck can speak for me anytime. My understanding is Justice may have played his last basketball game at OSU, which is very sad, for him and the program.

Washington did nothing but gun it and want the attention. Buckeyes are better with him gone.  want proof? See OSU v Oral Roberts.

First check in of where the Buckeyes stand nationally has us as a 5 seed in ESPN's bracketology and #18 nationally in the Sagarin computer poll. Consistent assessments.

Good win for the Buckeyes yesterday. Any conference road win, especially by double digits, is a good win.

B1G not as well represented in the polls as much as normal in the last few years. That said, the Choo Choo Train ballers are #1.Â
