I am expecting inflation. Hiring is competitive right now. During COVID turnover was low and many were happy to have jobs. Now we are seeing the great resignation. We redid our salary admin plan with entry level getting a 20% bump. I had little turnover so it was great doling out nice raises. Added bonus was another region promoting one one of my staff. He was better off staying with me and growing as the new job will chew him up, but I up graded and I would have never gotten this guy without new salary.Â
I am sure things were bleaker during Carter admin with inflation, double digit interest rates and gas lines.Â

Letâ€s see what actually gets passed with reconciliation. I hate spending without tax increase or cuts somewhere else. (I think all taxes were already going up because Trumps tax cut was temporary on income)
Infrastructure is always a good thing. I guess we finally got infrastructure week. I canâ€t imagine voting against it.

Too bad. Houston has expanded all major highways over the last 12 years. The money went somewhere.
