I know they sell rabbit blood that you can spray in order to keep the rabbits away.

Well, I think the coyote piss helped some. It drove my dogs a bit crazy but seems to at least have kept the skunks in my neighbors yards.

I watched one out my side window messing around in my neighbors bushes, they are on vacation, then I blasted him with my new spotlight and it took off.
The other one I watched from the front door dart between three different yards then I lost him.

Why not just shoot them? A .22 between the eyes solves the problem entirely.

Head shots only!

If he doesn't live in a rural area, I don't think it's worth going to jail for if a neighbor reports him.

I live in a residential area. Can't safely or legally discharge.

Was thinking about an air rifle, nice and quiet. But then you have to get the carcass.

Fair enough. I guess I donâ€t associate skunks with residential areas…

I use one of these to shoot woodpeckers…itâ€s .30 cal and definitely overkill for a bird but it would certainly kill a skunk with a headshot

Skunks definitely get into residential areas. In OKC I saw them and possums all the time. Along with armadillos they made up most of the road kill fauna. Nothing worse than spotting a squished skunk at a stop sign. Definitely a rolling stop while desperately trying to close any open windows and vents.
Fortunately we don't seem to have them here although everything else seems to live in my neighborhood.

When I was much younger and was big into paintball, I discovered that paintball guns do a great job of deterring cats from coming into your yard and crapping in your kids' sandbox.

And they're legal to shoot most anywhere.

Many years ago, I went with a buddy to look at a used car.  We went to this guy's house and he had the vehicle stored in his back yard.  So, we go into his back yard and he has a fairly nice wood shed, with an A/C, recliner, TV, a bucket full of bird seed next to his recliner..... and a pellet gun.

I have to imagine that he spent a lot of time flinging bird seed, watching TV and sniping pigeons.

I mean, do you get them drunk on Old Milwaukee first? Enquiring minds want to know.
Right! I was thinking the same thing.

Coyote piss seems to be a successful deterrent thus far in my yard. I did blast one in my neighbors yard with the spotlight Friday night but it didn't phase him. Popped his head up and gave me a look like thanks for blinding me *****, I'll get you back one of these days and just kept on digging.
