NYT gives an answer on the data used by the Sussmann, et al. Alfa Bank "researchers" - it was from DARPA.

Relevance to criminal inquiry-

What was the classification of that data?

What were the restrictions on its use/dissemination?

The indictment referred to "updated allegations" taken to some agency in February 2017. They also found data suggesting Yotaphones--Russian smartphones rarely seen in the US--were being used inside networks for Trump Tower, Spectrum Health, & the White House, and told the CIA./3

Maria is on the money.  Durham appears to be crafting a scenario whereby the corrupt politicized FBI and others in the Obama Administration attempting to illegally attack Trump with a phony dossier are the victims.  What a joke.

I've said it more times than I can count here...HT and I could lay this whole thing out in front of a grand jury and get indictments in an afternoon purely based on publicly available information.

The fact that Durham and Horowitz have been jerking each other off as long as they have proves the lack of seriousness in the investigation.

Both of those guys know exactly where the trail of facts lead and they are refusing to follow the breadcrumbs.

This whole thing is a joke and Sussman is going to keep him mouth shut...he knows the real payday is being the fall guy.

Of course they knew exactly what they were given...you can tell based on Jordan's statement in the video.

The leadership of the FBI was totally complicit. Comey, McCabe, and Brennan (CIA) knew exactly what they were doing.

At some point Strozk knew as well but I do believe he was a useful idiot to begin with.

Yup.  Durham could have indicted most of the key government conspirators that he is ignoring within a few months.  Most of his time was spent figuring out how he could indict outsiders who have no direct knowledge of what the government was doing in terms of illegal spying on Trump.  Its like a bank robbery where the prosecutor passes on the people directly involved in the robbery and instead indicts the guy who sold them the getaway car.

Says he used to work on similar corruption cases and it took him 5 years or so.  Expecting big fish like Glenn Simpson, etc...  to get reeled in.   Thinks Strozk and Page are actually helping Durham reel in some other big fish like McCabe and Comey.     Hmmmm...  


So is this just simply more compelling television, or is there a payoff at the end of this thing?  If this thing tops off at, say, a McCabe it will be better than I expected.  I mean, deep down, did you ever really expect someone like Ma to get nailed? (Minus her comments about not going to jail)  No one at that level isn't insulated with layer upon layer of plausible deniability.  

I more or less gave up a while ago, but this is at least keeping me entertained a little longer than I expected.
