The 'Sweater Vest' resigned.
DC is a symptom, not the cause. The cause is basic voter stupidity and economic ignorance.

He fell on the sword for the program.

One of the all time greats in OSU coaching.

YSU is in my back yard.  Got to watch many YSU games when he was there (as he is again but different capacity).

While at OSU he restored some of the traditions and put something back in the program that helped with team responsibility.  The 02 team was about as fun a college season I ever enjoyed.

I enjoyed his tenure but I called him fg Jimmy.  I did prefer Meyer over him but that does not mean I do not like Jimmy or felt he needed fired for the incident or for his record.  I would have lived with Jimmy for another 16 more years as HC and still bitched about his red zone offense. lol

Gotta meet Jim and his RB coach bro at senior day in Cbus back in 08.   Got some pics with him and my son who attended the event.  Went well for the son, but he ended up going DIII to Muskingum and had solid career.  Great guy and had great run at OSU

If what happened happened virtually anywhere else, minus a few other schools, no one would have been the wiser.  Kids traded memorabilia for tattoos and the coach didnâ€t report it.  Ohhh the humanity!  Yet another reason to hate the media.

I had escaped into the back woods of upper New England that week, and didn't find out about it until I returned to Columbus. Really off of the grid.
