Iâ€m really shocked that no one has mentioned a football scoring record that remains unbroken since 1974. And I can guarantee this record will never be broken. I scored 15 TDâ€s as a WR for our AFJROTC HS rec league in a six game season. After the final game, our HS disbanded rec league tackle football because too many people were getting hurt. Never to be played again.
You guys need to show some serious respect for legends of the game like me.

Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk Al Bundy, that Piker. But I will give him credit, he scored four TD's. From a fan site, " In 1966, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, Bubba "Spare Tire" Dixon."

I figured the Bob Beamon long jump record would never be broken.
I'm against all over generalizations.

Not a record, but going back to reading you guys talk about UCLA, anyone think the UNLV vs dook game of 1991 was shaved?
Don't get me wrong, I don't think UNLV actually meant to lose, but point shave maybe and it got away from them?
Better theory is dook was just simply the best team they faced by far all year, and the talent dook had, the biggest upset ever just doesn't seem to fit.

Better theory is dook was just simply the best team they faced by far all year, and the talent dook had, the biggest upset ever just doesn't seem to fit. UNLV had at least 4 or 5 Pros on that team. I don't think Dooks talent was the ultimate factor. After all this was a battle tested defending Nat'l Champion who had played multiple teams over the course of 2 Years who had as much talent as Dook. Maybe the pressure finally got to UNLV who had a major target on their back for most of those 2 Years. Heck UNLV beat them in the Title game the year before by 30 points. And brought almost their entire team back.
IMO the biggest NCAA upset was in 1966 when A All black UTEP led by Don Haskins came out of nowhere to upset A Adolph Rupp led All White Kentucky team.  Changed the Course of NCAA Basketball with regards to how Black Players where recruited in Major Conference's across the Country.
John Wooden had it figured out real quick. And he started a dynasty recruiting Coast to Coast.
