Doesn't matter. Like most cops, Chauvin had probably heard a million times from a thug in custody that he was in pain or having trouble breathing or whatever. He died from drugs not Chauvin's knee. None of this response has anything to do with the charge of manslaughter, culpable negligence. Derek chauvin went against MPD training in deliberately not offering aid to George Floyd at the point that he is comatose.Â
how do we know itâ€s deliberate?  Because he ignored multiple people who drew that fact to his attention. He was the senior officer on scene. He knew better. And he didnâ€t do better Many many cases where Officers across the Country who received minimal hours of First Aid Training during their initial training were exonerated from not rendering aid . Many felt like their training wasn't enough, forgotten because they never went through any retraining after leaving the Academy, Their training didn't cover specific situations. MPD might have it on their books, but how often was it enforced, did they provide yearly follow up medical training and refresher courses for their Officers, Was it a part of their yearly reviews or a point of emphasis .
Sadly questions his Lawyers never brought to light or were allowed to question Dept. Personnel about.Â
But hey its on the small print on the last page of the MPD training manual.

If this isn't a mistrial then the whites have a terrific opportunity to take revenge (yes, there are a lot of crazy, pissed off whites out there). This is a very real rock and hard place situation for whomever has to decide this crap.

I think he should have been charged and convicted of some degree of wrongful death. His sentence was way over the line. I may have not used the best language in my post in that I am talking about what the crazy, pissed off whites (which I clearly stated) would make of it if a mistrial was not declared. The judge will have a hard time with this decision even though it is cut and dry. A mistrial must be declared.
As far as the "me and my pals" comment, you don't know a thing about me so piss off. Stating what is likely to happen certainly seems to rub you the wrong way. Too bad. A mistrial is likely going to happen and should happen whether you like it or not so live with it.

Not me rino I have too much to lose to join something like that. I spent 8 hours in jail once when I was 22 years old and that I hours was enough for me to know that I never wanted to do anything to ever go back.
Quite honestly this is why the radical left is usually the unruly portion of our country, because most don't have anything to lose,, where as conservatives are too busy building their lives and protecting what is there's.

The sickness of this country is on full display. The George Floyd fan club demands that Chauvin be held to the most ridiculously high standards for his actions but rioters, looters, arsonists, and murderers who caused billions of dollars in damage that also resulted in loss of life and the destruction of numerous cities were never held to account for any of their actions. This is what a country that replaces law with social justice for blacks looks like.
