Chauvin juror lied in pretrial questioning

No question, new trial.

A larger problem is witnesses with regards to a fair trial. Clearly they were unable to find expert witnesses to counter the prosecution's witnesses effectively. There is no question it's because no one wants to go on the record. One of the ones who did was targeted. And there are huge medical questions and issues with the prosecution's case that simply were not addressed.

Not how it is supposed to work.  You lie on a questionnaire and you will be disqualified if it is found out.  This will be a mistrial.
That would be one out if twelve. That would be an insane waste of resources. The trial prolly cost 20-30 million. Throw the jurors vote out, still 11-0.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, you need twelve (honest?) jurors to agree.  We've been doing it this way for a long time and I don't see any exceptions being made because it cost too much to have another trial.  What if it were you, your son, wife or daughter in the hot seat?  I think we both know the answer.

Its pretty much impossible to have a "fair and unbiased" jury for this. Many cities were lit on fire last year over this. It was in the news a bit.

Doubt you could find 12 people in the whole USA that have not heard about it and formed an opinion.

And no one is going to overturn that, be doxxed, and have them and their families targeted and attacked. Look what they did to witnesses houses.

This trial was straight out of 1940/50s Mississippi, just with the colors switched.

Nope, that ain't how it works. One liar in the jury is one too many.

Mistrial.

One juror can hold up a verdict in a normal trial.  You donâ€t just throw his vote out and convict anyway.  You need 12 to come to an agreement.  The punch was spoiled before the party even started.  Mistrial.  Get out your marshmallows.  Gonna be more fires coming

You can't be serious.  There were two types of jurors at that trial.  Those who knew they were going to vote guilty before hearing even one word of evidence because of black solidarity and those who knew their lives would be destroyed if they didn't vote guilty.  This was as bad as any unjust trial of a black 100 years ago.

I agree.
And our crooked government wanted it that way.

Throw in the comments by Mad Max and Biden there is no way to seat an honest jury who has not heard those things. No matter, he will be tried and convicted again which is bs.

If the defense manages to get a retrial moved out of Minneapolis proper into the suburbs or rural areas, his chances of being exonerated will go up substantially.
