I bet she's excited.
I think UNC's spring game sold out in 2 hours. That's unusual for UNC football. Of course it can't be 100% capacity.

Tress had the best Spring Game format.

This is just absurd.

Teams banged up, donâ€t think they were looking for more injuries.

We are living in clown world, I had to take my cat to the vet today and they made me wait outside and they called me on the phone instead of letting me go inside with her.

Which if anyone knows anything about cats, they hate leaving the house and going on car rides in pet carrier cages and the poor little thing screamed her head off for over an hour.

Had I been inside with the cat she would've felt safer and not as anxious.

Idiots

Players usually get hurt freakishly more than due to standard contact, look at quarterbacks, rarely do they get hurt scrambling as its almost always in the pocket getting rolled up on of guys diving around their knees.

They had 17 players out with injuries. The practice still went well and there were no additional injuries.

Blinky is on to maybe what was the best to watch in person, but I am watching it this morning and I can see this is better for the team. Football is different now with much less contact at practice. I canâ€t think off of the top of my head major spring game injuries, but even non major ones hurt if they canâ€t work out for extended periods.

For me watching it on TV, outside the early whistles it looks like any other spring game. Plays happening with drives, down and distance. To be honest outside I think there was a time seniors split up and drafted I donâ€t know history of the format. I donâ€t even know if it wasnâ€t same Cooper did before him. I really donâ€t remember it changing much up to Urban. That said, I am trying to think when I started having access to watch in NC. Maybe last 10, 12 years. I know I watched Tress ones.

Note...I paused at half time. I know format is about to change, could make me think it will be crap. Also like probability of 1s v 1s. And order of qbâ€s. Looking at Marvinâ€s, how was he not higher ranked. He is going to be Mike Thomas pt 2. The WRâ€s are ridiculous. That is with no Fleming.

John Cooper used to put the first and third team on "Scarlet," while "Grey" would get the second string and the deep reserves. The games were always total blowouts with the ones going up against the twos. It wasn't awful, but could have been a lot better with the small tweak of putting the first team offense and defense on opposing teams instead of the same team, so that the ones were going up against the ones, and the twos were going up against the twos. But it was live, full contact, four quarters of football.

Jim Tressel let the captains draft their own teams, and split up the coaching staff so that he could just watch. The teams were evenly matched, and it was a full four quarter game as well.

Urban's format was fun just because of the whole circus atmosphere around it. The circle drills, the races, the distance throwing contests, and all that. As for the game itself, this is when it started getting practice-y. Players would switch teams throughout the game, FGs would get kicked ten times in a row, moving back 5 yards after every few kicks, with Urban standing over the holder just glaring at the kicker. The physicality deteriorated from tackle to two-hand touch/thud over the course of the Urban regime. But at least they still played a game.

This year it was just letting the fans watch a practice. They didn't even keep score or run a clock in the second half.

They never stop the clock in the 2nd half and haven't since the early 2000's under tressel. Just imagine that its been almost 20 years since the magical 02 season!
