I agree.  She made a huge mental mistake, but wasn't an arrogant,  callous prick like Chauvin.

Chauvin should not have kept his knee on him that long and especially once he lost consciousness. The other 2 cops were in dereliction of duty by not stopping chauvin.

This prison sentence is ridiculous. Yes she screwed but but obey the Police and just chill out. He had a rap record a mile long.

She did the world a favor. A governor should pardon her. That guy was going to kill and be killed sooner rather than later. Oops sorry about that was all she needed to say and let her go. Shouldn't be a cop though the next mistake might hurt someone that mattered.

I know this isn't PC, and if I were a public figure I would get canceled for it, but women cops shouldn't be put in these scenarios.  Larger, stronger males with vast experience screw up enough as it is.  Why are we purposely introducing more potential problems with this stuff?  I know, I know.  Dinosaur thinking, but come on...  an unruly male perp raising hell and violently resisting?  The police force and military are no place for social engineering.  

I feel for this woman.  I really do.  It was a tragic accident, nothing more.

Women should absolutely not be beat cops or traffic cops. You want to make them detectives, forensics, whatever? That's cool. Putting them out on the streets endangers them and the community more than having a man out there. It's the same reason we haven't had women in combat operations in the military. They aren't as effective and their lack of effectiveness endangers others.

Short of not being convicted this is about the best she could have hoped for in todays climate.

This is harsh, but I hear family members of the victim saying things like “this is like killing him all over again.”  Ya know, he put himself in that position.  He, and he alone, is the main reason this tragedy happened. 

Is there anyone in the MSM willing to point out this obvious elephant in the room?  Answer:  No

There should not have been any prison time in this sentence. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes applies to the "victim" here, even though the cop made a mistake. Black "leaders" are sending the wrong message to their community in this case, which will only result in more of these tragedies in the future.
