Ok, *slight* hyperbole there. Then do not come to China, I think especially for those over 50, I think they think that it's the only way phones can be used. And then they yell into the speaker. Such a joy.Â
And my wife does this. Â

I might have mentioned it in one of the covid threads. After I had my second shot, the dude that was near me during the 15 minute wait period got a call and of course, had to use speakerphone and scream into the phone. I got to hear about 10 minutes of his conversation, this wasn't an emergency or important call, just him BS'ing with someone. I read the nut house to distract me from the distraction.Â

This so many times. We live in a world of time. I take it as disrespect.
Airplane travel, I hate those that bolt from the back the minute the plane gets in the gate. We got on orderly and we need to get off in an orderly fashion. (I will concedeIf youâ€re rushed for a connecting flight, you should be first off...flight attendants can make that happen)
Also. Airplane seats in coach should not recline. I usually donâ€t let the person in front of me do it anyways. Short people in exit rows also bothers me.

While I agree about airplane seats shouldnâ€t be able to recline, as that two inches probably isnâ€t worth it, but I take that two inches every time. My kids hated sitting behind me as aside from having the seat in furthest back position, I like a bit of incline when driving.Â
I am interested in how you donâ€t let the person in front do it. I am not sure how I would handle someone complaining, especially when they are likely shorter than me. That said, I am largely un bothered by others. One flight my wife was complaining about a lap kid kicking my seat.
B.O. of the person sitting next to me is a far worse problem. On a flight back from Korea I sat next to a guy that reeked. Longest flight ever.
Simple. I†m a large human. My knees against the back of the seat stop all reclining.

Ok, *slight* hyperbole there. What if we make it legal to taze these people(not by police, but by fellow shoppers, diners, etc), and then stomp on the phone.

A big pet peeve of mine is people backing into parking spots. Why the hell do people do this? It takes WAY more effort to back into a spot than to back out of it. And it slows down other cars and is just inconsiderate. Today, I saw this young punk take three attempts to back into a spot off the street (not parallel park, but a spot perpendicular to the road). Meanwhile around 6 cars were brought to a halt waiting for this half wit to finish the task. This is a dick move done by arrogant pricks (other than those of you on the board reading this who I like).
I'll bet ANYTHING pitchblack backs into parking spots. He's just that kind of dude.

I back in.
At my last job everyone else started doing it too, after I started working there.
All of a sudden they weren't backing into each other after work anymore after that.

Backing into a spot just makes your exit that much more pleasant. It's also safer to back into a spot than back out out of one. Plus when you go to leave the air smells better, food tastes better, and the girls are prettier. etc... That said, if you're going to do it don't be THAT guy that holds people up. Basic situational awareness. If I see cars in my mirror I will just pull straight in. That said, one is really no big deal for me because I can do it quickly, but if I see more than one car I wouldn't do that. That is rude as sh1t. Â
One more thing, I only do this if I'm on a last row. i.e. I will not do it with cars parked directly in front/behind me (head to head or head to tail) Now if I have nothing but space and grass behind me, yeah...  I'll back that beyotch in. Â

You are backing up in traffic where the direction is forward, great recipe for an accident.Â
Anyway, I think I figured out why it is a total dick move. When you back out of a spot, you may need to wait a bit. When you back into a spot, you make OTHER people wait. Me first move.
