So, I’m in a different boat than others. I’m a non X user but I’m not anti X.

How do you as a consumer know who to trust on X? If I go to WSJ or NPR or even Fox, I know what to expect going in.

But a ton of the stuff I see pushed by friends or even on this site is by people who I have no ability to frame competence or truthfulness. How do you process that to see if someone is reputable?

It's a Tower of Babel and people gravitate to their echo chambers within. I can't even see the linked tweets and I don't care if I ever read a tweet.

I’m relatively new to reading and posting on X and this was by far my greatest difficulty regarding sorting the wheat from the chaff. There is a lot of chaff, but some of the kernels are golden regarding history, travel, culture, science and other non-political tweets.
