Prince and Bruno Mars were the only good performances recently. I just liked seeing Katy Perryâ€s boobs.
The Stones and Springsteen both out on awful performances.
The Weeeknd does stupid synth-pop, he is Ethiopian, fwiw. He is quite the druggy, probably gives Keef back in the day a run for his money.

I can't even fathom who you can say. Stevie Nicks? Steven Tyler? The Van Zants? Paul Rodgers he's known in the Music Business by everyone as " The Voice" A respectable choice and good singer. He still doesnâ€t gave the range and talent of the modern singers I named. Vedder doesn't hold a candle to Rodgers or many others. And Cobain and Cornell as great as they might have been pussed out on life purposely leaving behind beloved family members who were devastated.Â
Cobain was good, Cornell was a cut above him. Cornell was on benzodiazepines-those things are terrifying-they literally give users suicidal thoughts/tendencies only when the user tries to wean themself. That†s probably what happened to Anthony Bourdain as well.

They just sounded like one of those "mainstream alternative bands" that Nirvana was always ripping on. Exactly. Grohl had a metal band side project-Probot or something like that, that was pretty badass. I was like “Why did you sellout with the Foo Fighters crap?â€
The SB halftime committee should have had some balls and given Lamb of God the halftime slot!

I can†t stand George Harrison, good thing Prince was there to save things. He truly is one of the GOATs.

Cobain was good, Cornell was a cut above him. I didn't list Vedder as one of the best. I also said Cobain was bad.Â
My list:
Chris Cornell
Corey Taylor (Slipknot & Stone Sour)
David Draiman (Disturbed)
Chester Bennington (Linkin Park)
Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden #2)
Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree)

A like some Slipknot stuff, but Corey's voice is horribly wasted on that band. Except for a few select songs like Snuff, you barely get to hear what a tremendous talent he is.

Corey Taylor's acoustic version of Snuff is outstanding.
Everyone has different qualities they look for in sangers. Range, notes and unique tone all come into play.
As to half time shows, hate em all as half time is too long. More recently the half time show is perfect for the drive home as we went to a friend's party for 5 or six years in a row.

If I were a trans-whatever right now I would be clutching my pearls.  Can†t stand George Harrison?????  Blaspheme! Â
Just busting your stones. Â Music is subjective. Â I just always liked Harrison. Â Love his slide playing. Â ATMP has to be one of the top albums of the 70s. Â

Lennonâ€s solo stuff curb stomps McCartneyâ€s or Harrisonâ€s, imo.

I thought George's early solo years and his later solo years were his best. Some serious meh in the middle, but he bookended the meh with some great stuff. I mean if you have Murtaugh and Riggs on your side you know it has to be good.   Love the slide play in this tune. Â
