Considering Covid and the money printing and borrowing, this will snowball into a no growth hell with high UE and soaring inflation.  Americans will long for the days of Jimmy Carter.  Once the deflation point hits, and businesses dry up, it will then be followed up by uber inflation.    Great stuff.  Why people find this stuff even remotely attractive is beyond comprehension.

Most of them don't pay taxes and are being promised a cut of your taxes.

Its like asking a deadbeat if you can pay his rent, of course he'll accept it and next month if you don't pay it again he's going to call you "greedy".

I assume these are all the top end numbers? Cali is going to see a flood of people leaving with their 13% state taxes plus 52% federal taxes. Who is going to want to pay 65% of their income in taxes?

California and NY are already seeing tons of people and businesses leaving.  Unfortunately many of them are moving to other states and with the new Hispanic immigrants are helping to turn them Blue.
