It seems that the right is rioting in D.C.
Im proud that unlike last summer, when Dems were pretty much silent or gave approval, many republicans are standing up and saying that what happened yesterday was wrong.

I dont care about the other side, I want my side to act like civilized people who follow the rule of law. Not feelings based animals who commit violence when they are mad.

So, this morning, I am grateful for that.

If the tables were turned and it was antifa/BLM doing the rioting, the narrative would be entirely different and the leftists, who have openly advocated for political violence, would be supporting the "peaceful protesters" and condemning Trump.

I agree, thats why I'm not one of them.

I expect my side to be better. We dont let our feelings rule our actions. We follow the rule of law, and use our brains to make decisions.

My feelings toward rioters on the left or the right dont change. They should be gassed, use water cannons, then if non lethal isnt working, open fire on the worst of them. Thats part of what makes me a conservative. I treat rioters of both ilks the same. Otherwise its just my side vs. your side and I'm no better than them.

I hold myself, and my political party, to a higher standard.

It has become way too common that, when "your" party's poor behavior is pointed out, the response is "well, they did it too".

What rule of law?  When only one side follows it, it is meaningless.

No question about that. Right now if it was burn loot murder or the privileged white retards of antifail they'd still be in the Capitol and the Dem Congressmen would be delivering them food and asking them what they want. The press would be waxing eloquent about how peaceful it all was even if the Capitol burned to the ground. Riots would be breaking out all over the country if the person shot was a black criminal instead of a white veteran small business owner.
But that's just pointing out the obvious hypocrisy of the left. I'm not going to support these people the way the left supports even worse actors. The people that are involved in this are unhinged radicals and should be prosecuted. We won't be bailing them out like Harris and Biden's people bailed out rioters.
Yeah I said Congressmen. Oooooohhhh. Will the twits of twitter or Nancy Pelosi cancel me now?

I understand your point, but I have not seen enough evidence to believe the election was rigged and stolen.  I believe he lost by 100k votes in a few keys battle states, much like he won by 100k votes in those same key states last time.  So he lost a very close election.  It sucks, but it happens.

So we differ on our view of the "facts", and thus have arrived at different conclusions.  Maybe Im a RINO, or a cuck, or soft.  Maybe Im wrong and you are right about the election.  But I have to go with what Ive seen and heard and thats not enough for me to believe as you do.  If new evidence comes to light, hopefully I will be able to see it and modify my view of things.

Forget the election.  You were talking about rule of law.  Are you still not convinced that after 4 years of Democrats illegally trying to remove Trump from office using the FBI and DOJ with no legal consequences that we have rule of law?  How about the fact that people like Hillary Clinton can violate every federal national security law in the book with no charges?  How about the fact that BLM/antifa are given full permission to loot and destroy dozens of US cities with no consequences?  How about the fact that people trying to defend themselves or their property from rioters and looters like Kyle Rittenhouse and the McCloskey's were charged while the looters were not?

So now we're going to compare the situations as if they're even on the scoreboard.  Lol.  Statues toppled and defaced, cites taken over, looted, burned to the ground over the course of MONTHS is now comparable to one afternoon of insanity?  Alright.  I mean this is almost as nauseating as getting lectured to by Chuck Schumer yesterday.

I don't think any serious person on the right believes what was done yesterday was acceptable in any way, shape or form.

Whatever the case, George Soros finally got his payout yesterday.  He's been pushing for this for ages now.  Finally the right/middle America  explodes in frustration and responds.  He's been poking the bear for a while now.  It took a stolen election, but he finally made it happen.  Chaos looms.  The Dems go for the gold these next two years, with virtually no margin in either chamber, and this nation will burn.

Lastly, I'd like to know the details of the shooting of that girl.  Why did a cop fire into that crowd?  Were they being aggressive?  I don't know; I didn't see any of it.  Pitch, what's your early take here?
He's gone silent. Shooting a White military vet female doesn't fit his narrative apparently

Are we actually comparing protesting the govt at a govt building because of what the govt is doing, to burning down mom and pop shops over an armed rapist that was shot (and not killed) by police?

Once again proving that truth is indeed stranger than fiction.

When the Left takes over buildings, not only does the government not remove them by force, they make sure they have food and water for them.
