Clinesmith is just the tip of the iceberg. It's cute that people think that the DOJ/FBI are non-partisan, honest, and truthful.
Anti-individualistic, the Fascist conception of life stresses the importance of the State and accepts the individual only in so far as his interests coincide with those of the State...

Other than the fact that you've been convinced that the FBI is nothing more than an absolutely corrupt arm of the Democratic party, based on what is Clinesmith the tip of the iceberg?Â
The FBI didn't have to do anything with the Clinesmith situation, but went public with it, prosecuted, convicted and punished him.

<script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> What is the malfeasance being insinuated here?
The implication is that the FBI knew all about the upcoming protests and demonstrations because they were not only inciting them, but they were tracking their own operatives in addition to others. The FBI didn't want to stop the events of J6, they wanted to foment them. Helped conspire.

That's all complete nonsense. Huber uncovered Clinesmith's corruption, not the FBI. Durham charged Clinesmith, not the DOJ. In any event, a judge sympathetic to the party gave Clinesmith a slap on the wrist for fabricating evidence on a FISA warrant that helped lead to a special counsel appointed to investigate the President of the United States. No biggie.

To answer Ala, the FBI could have lobbied for a larger security presence, based on all this crazy chatter going on with all of the multitudes of “white supremacist†groups, for 1-6.

It sounds like there were various people lobbying for larger security presence. If they were really interested in rooting out what happened on 1/6, they†d get to the bottom of who all were holding that up and why. But they aren†t.

The max sentence for his crime, I believe, is 6 months in prison. The prosecution presented it as some evil plot by Clinesmith because he was an anti-Trumper. Clinesmith said that he honestly believed that Page was not a source and added that to the email. In reality, Clinesmith declined to request surveillance for 2 other members of Trump's campaign team, when he could have just as easily agreed do it.
I'll also add that the Clinesmith's crime was the most egregious found the Durham. Everything else, from what I read, was most related to sloppiness and/or laziness. In other words, he wasn't the tip. He was THE iceberg.

Yes, repeatedly lying on FISA warrants is just "sloppy" work and when the DOJ IG made multiple criminal referrals for prosecution he was probably just being sloppy too. Just like Hillary Clinton breaking various criminal laws mishandling classified information. She was just sloppy.

That this was a Mr Clinesmith enterprise.  You claim he†s the iceberg?  Seriously?  What about Sussman?  The dossier?  Lying on FISA applications?  Comey intentionally trying to mislead Trump?  General Flynn?  Spying on Trump tower?  Etc...  I could go on for a week
