Trump is off the deep-end.  Pence doesn't have the authority to do what Trump wanted him to do.

Feel bad for Pence. Stuck between a rock and a hard place, but I respect him for doing his duty and not listening to Trump, despite the fact he knew what the outcome would be.

Wonder if the rioters would consider him the enemy now? Would they have attacked him if they could have gotten to him?

Whatever expectations Trump envisioned for running again as Republican candidate are gone.  His relatives, who wanted to aspire to running for office, are also now gone.   Third party?  Maybe, but we know how that ends.   Time for Trump family to retire and go quiet into the night.
