So Mike doss was an all American and captain of our 2002 national title season and he had a 6 year NFL career, who ultimately found himself working in commercial real estate.

He set the tone for that season. He could have gone pro the year before, but he said that he'd won a championship at every level except college, and that he was coming back to win a NC. At the time most talking heads and jabber jocks found it ridiculous. We were coming off of the Steve Bellisari era, FFS. But he believed it, and he convinced the team that they could do it, and they did it. He went onto be on a Super Bowl roster in the NFL.
