and the concept of being with God is not a NT creation. It goes back to Genesis, the first 7 or so chapters.
To K9's point.....being worldly or 'of the world' has to do with where our mind is, where our trust is, where our heart is. Is it with this physical world, or is it entrusted to God?

If you routinely follow politics and current events, you are just as "of this world" as anyone else.
If you want to "come out of this world" then build a compound, and ban television and the internet.

There is truth to that. I have often thought that, perhaps, I should abandon politics. That's hard for me to because I've been interested in history and current events since I was a child. I despise liars and want the best for all of us. But, I also recognize that this world is beyond repair, at least until Christ returns. So, yea, I am conflicted.

True. Noah†s Ark was a picture of being lifts up with Christ. The window was at the top, which is a picture of the scripture in all of Psalms 121. “I life my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from?â€...

If you want to "come out of this world" then build a compound, and ban television and the internet. I'd disagree with this. The 'Benedict Option' as your comment is routinely named is a short sighted view of what life is supposed to be. The Bible clearly tells us that we are to be in the world, but not of the world. We are not called to separate from the world, except in its sinful practices.
We are to be salt and light(Matthew 5). You can't be that if you are hidden away in a compound.
To K9's point, yes, we can certainly become too immersed in politics or other topics. There is a balance here.
This is why I'm not concerned that Joe Biden got elected. His election is not good for this country, imo. His election can lead to some horrible things IMO. But my hope is not in the President or the USA or whatever else. My hope is in Jehovah, in Jesus, in my relationship with Him.

Orbit and yourself have a long history Biblical scholarship so a really didn't pay attention to the scriptures posted to show Trump is otherworldly. I did pick up on being called a dog or swine on a solo post which is comical.
Based on your description, there is zero evidence he is other worldly, even given this revised biblical connotation. Are the sycophants now trying to compare him to King David or the like?

You gotta admire the faith of the atheists that believe that nothing created everything. I'd like to believe that too, but I lack their faith.

The polytheistic undertones of the Bible are well documented, but Christians aren't polytheists, are they?
