PCR TESTING FOUND FLAWED! If a person has a positive PCR test at a threshold of 35 cycles or higher (in most laboratories in the USA), the probability of a person receiving a false positive is 97% or higher”.

can you please explain what the "threshold of 35 cycles" means, to us laymen?

No longer GroupThink 'woke'.  but it was fun while it lasted.

It is extremely sensitive. However the false positives would be a sort of false positive. The person may not be currently infected or currently infectious but will likely have been recently infected. It is one of the reasons we don't recommend retesting to clear people to return to work. Some may still be shedding some viral particles and the test can pick that up even though they aren't sick or contagious any more. But a test that sensitive can return true false positives as well. In a case of high prevalence like we have now that will be an extremely low number of people. The statement that false positive likelihood is 97% or higher is flatly and patently false. Absurd actually.

Yeah, Georgia Tech talks about this in regards to their testing regime. However, they do still want you to get tested and instead ask questions if you've recently had COVID. Helps with data mining.
