I love Whitlock. He calls out both sides, and plays it straight.
And yes, there were 30 guys on the FB who could have kicked that bad. probably another 1000 guys walking the halls of Vandy that could have done it.
She is an elite D1 girl soccer player, but not even a D3 FB player. WHy is that not enough?
And no, she didnt "play" football.

When I lived in Columbus I went to an Otterbein-Capital game, and Capital didn't have a kicker or a punter. Maybe they were soccer players and had a game of their own on that day, I don't know. But it was a shitshow. Every kick was worse than hers. Every punt went like 15 yards off of the side of the foot of whoever was kicking it. They had to go for two after every TD because no one on the team could even kick an extra point. Yet somehow they managed to win a nail biter of a game anyway.
Hey look, the game is on you tube.Â

I just wish someone would have the nuts to ask Mason or whomever if he HONESTLY trusts the female kicker to act as the last line of defense and make a tackle/knockdown shove on a return man who broke contain and is off to the races on a kickoff or botched FG.
FWIW, Tressel preferred Ks who were also good football players at other positions. Mike Nugent started at QB for a powerhouse Centerville team his senior year, and Aaron Pettrey was a very good HS QB.

I bet she's a better tackler than Garo Yepremian. Soccer players, male or female, don't belong on a real football field.

Considering the fact that she b-lined for the sidelines as soon as the ball was kicked, I don't think that she was expected to run down there and make a tackle. She was clearly instructed to kick it and get the hell out of there.

Nobody defended after the punt like Darren Bennet. Dude would crush these scat back returners if they made it that far. He played Australian Rules Football and was 6'5". So yeah, contact wasn't a problem. His nonchalant clothesline on one returner was epic. It was like swatting a bug.

For the record, it is also awkward to watch dudes play chick sports, like Volleyball, Tennis, Cheerleading, Figure Skating, Gymnastics, dancing, etc.

No dancing type crap thrown in. Some pretty bad ass stuff actually. Try grabbing the rings and then do anything at all. Not happening. Try to ignore the hair. Those crosses are sick.Â

Good one. I could seriously hurt you in either of these sports, brutusbuckeye. Not. Chick. Sports.

You might also be able to defeat me in a twerking contest. But it would still be a pretty gay activity for us to engage in.
