Me: we are in the middle of flu season and I havenâ€t really seen any flu cases, why is that
The left: everyone is staying safe and listening to experts.
Me: how are 100,000 people getting Covid daily
The left: nobody is listening to the experts.
I struggle to see what this post is getting at.

We are not in the middle of flu season. This is the beginning, peaking in February most years.

Ok, so we aren't in the middle of flu season. See how close I pay attention to this stuff? Overall I don't GAS and haven't really adjusted my life outside of wearing a mask when it's required to keep my job or when I get near older/susceptible folk. Otherwise I don't sit on pins and needles waiting to hear beta male DeWine (he reminds me of the dad on ALF) telling me what I should and shouldn't be doing. Since that's my attitude I really should probably not comment in these threads, but I was mostly just following the logic train that CB posted. Seems pretty straight forward to me. I mean I can't imagine the safe guards for the flu being any/much different than for Covid
