After he is sworn in I could see them going virtual and using holograms or other cgi to have an actor or computer pretend to be biden.

Clinton had the whole package for sure.  Pun not intended.  That said, I thought Obama was relatively bright, but way out of his element as POTUS.  If he isn't organizing against the man he's lost.  Trump very sharp as a leader/ceo type, but the personality of a person that never grew out of his early teen years.  Permanent chip on his shoulder that most of us grew out of by age 16.  Funny dude though.  Trump by far is the best entertainer in chief we have ever had.

Trump has always had the counter-puncher attitude.  A 9 year old girl could say something bad about him and Trump would knock the ice cream out of her hand.     i.e. he was pretty much always like this.  Now that said, with the way he is trashed on a daily basis he's been relatively restrained.  It (his tweets, etc...) could easily be a lot worse.

The media will cover for him even if he disappears for weeks at a time.  When they talk about him they will just put up stock photos of him and act like nothing is unusual at all.  Remember before the election they didn't say a word about him rarely leaving the house as if it was perfectly normal that he wasn't campaigning.
