Look. That was a post for people to put me somewhere on our fractured political spectrum.  Itâ€s awesome for you and others that had great parents.  But realize others arenâ€t so lucky. I apologize if my vitriol against my patents is offensive.  They were hard workers, just not good parents.  My goal is always civil discourse.  I wonâ€t openly disrespect anyone on here.

Sorry, but I'm not taking your word for it that you had bad parents. I'd have to hear their side of the story. It's pretty clear (from your own words) you were already an arrogant ahole at age 12, so raising you must have been a really difficult job. But bottom line, without them you don't exist. So show some respect, ya punk.

Bad parents aren't some unusual phenomenon. My father was a drunken abusive azzhole. When he died my mother and some of her friends went to the funeral. No relatives or friends of his(he didn't have any). I don't know why she went actually. She wasn't much either. Just sort of there and drunk. My friends often refused to believe how I was treated. Believe me I would've loved to have their parents. If you had great parents then be thankful but don't belittle the experience of others. Imagine not having great parents.

I know. One difference, I had benefactors that pushed education and made it possible. We took different routes to success.
