I feel bad for Kershaw as I believe, fair or unfair, that he has developed the rep of not performing in big games. He doesn't typically get bombed, but he just never seems to be the regular season version of himself either.

3-1 Dodgers in top of 8 with two out. Looks like they will force game seven.

Dodgers even the series at 3.  Game 7 tomorrow.  Good comeback by them to force deciding game.

Dodgers setting us up for a 7th game late inning choke job by Kershaw. I would have rather they just lost tonight and gotten it over with.

Franchises like Tampa Bay just slay me. No fan base whatsoever. Virtually no history. Yet they manage to be one game away from the WS. Marlins have been in the same boat in the recent past. Astros an over-glorified AAA team 5 years ago, now they routinely play for all the marbles. etc, etc, etc...  As a Reds fan it just kills me.
Tampa Bay has had better drafts and team operation by the GM, etc.  Reds have had poor drafts and poor leadership by GMs.  Reds have given Homer Bailey (who got injured soon after) a big contract and of course the Joey Votto deal was WAAAAY too long. I think they should angle a deal like they did with Bailey and trade Votto to clear him off the books and move Moustakas to first base.  Trade for a damn good 2nd baseman. They are closer than you think though. They've had much better drafts in last few years. Nick Lodolo is going to be a top notch starter. Johathan India is going to be a very good MLB IF.  Nick Senzel is very good in CF and on cusp of being top notch sans his injuries. Hunter Greene has big league arm and getting close as well. Tyler Stephenson and Jose Garcia are also right there for being big league starters and productive.  Throw in Suarez, Castellanos, Lucas Sims, TJ Antone, Tyler Mahle, Castillo, Gray....they have finally got the talent to win that division.

Just had a discussion with another Reds fan the other day about the terrible contracts the Reds have agreed to. Bailey and Votto being the most egregious. You want to give someone a golden parachute, then do it after you win something. I know injuries are a wild card, but still. Reds need to do better in the front office.
