Everyone needs to reopen. America needs to drop the skirt, put its pants back on and start peeing standing up again. Outside of medical facilities, enough already. I'm talking the mandates. If an individual feels a mask is the way to go, that's fine. I'm just sick of this blanket mandate crap.

I did not watch the debate but if Lefty media icons are saying Uncle Joe narrowly won it likely means Trump crushed him. I watched it and thought the longer Biden talked the more murky his answers became. He got really tripped up my Trump on oil, natural gas and fracking. He made some bold statements he cant exactly walk back. He went all "deer caught in the headlights" rt his oil industry comment and tried to save his tookas by saying "he takes everything out of context" rt Trump. Shoot even my kid laughed and said "Umm not so much on this one."Â
Its been interesting to watch my kids watching the debates. Two of my girls are liberal aside from abortion and therefor couldn't in good conscience vote for a pro abortion candidate. My boys are fairly conservative. My youngest daughter falls in the middle and is completely unafraid to state her opinions. In asking them who they would vote for (two can indeed vote) none of them wanted to vote Biden. For some its his stance on abortion, for others it is worrying what a Biden admin would do to the coal industry (my family back home all still work coal or steel), and still for others it's his persona straight from the swamp. Love getting to see our youth taking an interest in the election. My son told me last night's debate illuminated a lot on Biden and his true intentions.

The frack-ing topic really magnifies the importance of the electoral college and puts into perspective the insanity of the idea of a national popular vote. Man were the founders brilliant in their setting up a divided system (in general). It has really kept the wolves at bay. I mean, just imagine voters in California and NY essentially deciding the fate of energy workers in states like Ohio and Pennsylvania. Tip of the cap to the EC format. Thank yooooooouuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Â
Now of course Trump has to win for those people to benefit, but in a national popular vote Biden doesn't even have to care how he answers. He can just say yeah, frack-ing is over in a Biden administration, and he would not be concerned a bit on how it would affect him at the polls. Â
Just say NOOOOOO to a national popular vote!

It sounds like Uncle Joe sort of undid a lot of the hard work the media has done trying to prevent people from knowing what he intends to do if he wins. I honestly believe Biden would have been better off refusing to debate the President and just issuing campaign videos. The more people learn about Democrats, the better the chances for Republicans. That is why the media works so hard to not report accurately and instead spin and lie for the Democrats. The Pravda-like media is worth at least 20-25% for the Democrats.

HT, I agree with what you said there, and I'd add to it that many liberals, the ones I know fit this description, are generally theory driven and have no clue how their theories will translate into real life. Shoot, who isn't for clean air, and equality and treating everyone nice and everyone making top dollar and other 'platform planks' of the Democrat Party. It's a wish list born of unicorns. Sounds great, application is a bear because there are opportunity costs to every proposal.

People are naive and fall for all of the arguments about how everyone should be equal. The reality is, this country was founded on the concept of liberty, not equality. You can have one or the other but you cannot have both because once government gets in the business of making people equal, freedom and liberty are destroyed.

that's the opportunity cost that I referenced. which is why they guaranteed 'life and liberty' but not 'happiness'. only the pursuit of it.
