I know people who are 'book smart' and can rattle off information, but are absolute ignoramuses when it comes to knowledge and wisdom and application of information.
Look at that first tweet again. She isn't any kind of smart.

I don't think she is either.

If you think it is scary that affirmative action allowed that fool to enter and graduate the U of Georgia law school, Shelia Jackson Lee, who thinks we landed men on Mars, was admitted to and graduated from the even more prestigious University of Virginia School of Law.

There's nothing smart about here, but she's educated:

Kendrick was born in Atlanta, Georgia, to lifelong Dekalb County, Georgia residents, Daisy and Ricky Kendrick. She graduated from Towers High School in Decatur, Georgia in 2000, and graduated *** laude from Oglethorpe University in 2004. She double-majored in political science and communications, and served as student body president her senior year. In 2007, Kendrick graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law.[2] Kendrick received an MBA from Kennesaw State University in 2011.[3]

All those schools should lose their accreditation.

Sorry you missed it but we just covered her fraudulent education.  The chance she was legitimately admitted to and graduated from a good law school is literally zero.  Thanks to these affirmative action policies, educational credentials are becoming meaningless.

I mean, if she graduated *** laude with a double major and was student body president, that is plenty enough to get admitted to a decent law school with even an average LSAT score.

The fact she has 2 bachelors, a MBA and a JD and does not know this basic information is mind boggling. I can somewhat forgive the ignorance on the coyote comment, although she should have looked it up before tweeting about it, and should have acknowledged her ignorance on the subject after the fact, but not knowing states can have their own minimum wage while working in state government should be an instant recall from her constituents.
