SCOTUS overrules lower court, late mail-in ballots can NOT be counted

This is great news.  It seems likely that the election will be decided next Tuesday night, rather than many days later, unless we have a repeat of 2000.

I think Zig or someone else brought this up yesterday.  And yes on Pennsylvania.  They give Philly til Friday to take in ballots?  Gee, what could that possibly be about?  If that's the case, then the rest of the state should wait til Friday before they announce their numbers.  You CANNOT allow obvious ballot harvesting to go on right out in the open like that.     Or in secret for that matter.

It's not ballot harvesting IF the ballot is post marked the day of election...Nov 3.   ANYTHING AFTER is tossed.   These do have to be legitimate ballots from registered voters who have not voted yet, and all ballots are secured by a bar code attached to the voters.  RELAX.

The headline in the OP is 100% wrong. What the heck happened to reading comprehension these days. 

The SCOTUS declined to over rule the 7th circuit which made this decision. 

They also didnâ€t overturn NC or Penn. 

NC has 9 days. Penn 3 days.
