I just returned from a 3 day road biking trip in Northern Michigan. I logged 203 miles on the trip, including 114 miles on Day 2. My previous high for a day was 60 miles, so this was quite a stretch. 7.5 hours of biking, with 4.5 hours of resting/eating in between. For at least one day of my life, I hung with Michael Phelps in terms of calories burned exercising lol.
Day 1 of the trip was my 54th birthday, but no love here from zigbee. I guess he doesn't like me anymore. 😪😪😪

I spent about 3-4 days last summer in Michigan and I love Mackinaw. Went to the island and stayed overnight in the town.  Picked up some fresh fish and brought it home on that trip as well.  Beautiful state.

I just got back from Lake Lure, NC. (Dirty Dancing was filmed there) Spent the day there on my motorcycle. Rode about 160 miles today. That count?

Been awhile but I've visited this area. NC has some of the best places in the country.

We we're based in Traverse City at the state campground. First day was to Mission Peninsula tip and back (48 miles). 2nd day was loop around Leelanau Peninsula (TC-> Suttons Bay -> Northport -> Tip -> Northport -> Leland -> Glen Arbor -> TC (114 miles). Last day we checked out of campground and drove to Petoskey, where we did round-trip to Charlevoix, saw some AMAZING views of Lake Michigan on this journey (41 miles).

TC and Charlevoix (and area)Â are beautiful. Probably the best place to get the views of Lake Michigan. You guys did some pedaling!Â
