No arguments from me. NBA goat can be debated, but MJ certainly would be at the top of the mix. Same with NFL. Lots of great NFLers historically.

Jordan a no-brainer
Gretzky was pretty one dimensional though, right? I thought Hockey was supposed to be about toughness and grit. I don't disagree with your pick though, mostly because no other name jumps out at me. Who was the first Gretzky? I think the only other big name I would recognize is Gordy Howe. Translation: I have no business making a Hockey pick. Â
Tom Brady? I'd say the greatest winner, but the best player ever? Hmmmm... Jim Brown, Walter Payton, Jerry Rice, Reggie White, Gronk, Ray Lewis, Joe Montana...  VERY tough call.
Baseball I'd probably go with a more all around player. Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Ken Griffey Jr. Would have to look at their respective numbers to make a final decision.
Ali another no-brainer
Nicklaus too.
Soccer? Don't care. Â

In baseball, I'd go with a guy who could both pitch AND hit with remarkable ability.
23–12, with a 1.75 ERA and nine shutouts, both of which led the league, with nine shutouts in 1916 set a league record for left-handers that would remain unmatched until Ron Guidry tied it in 1978.
24–13 with a 2.01 ERA and six shutouts in 1917.
29 2â„3 consecutive scoreless innings, a record for the World Series that stood for more than 40 years until 1961, broken by Whitey Ford
Pretty decent stats, and the guy could hit too.

I always tend to overlook Ruth's pitching history.

The NFL might be the toughest to debate and consider.
The differences in positions make it a challenge, as the greatest player could have been a defensive player.

NBA - Oscar Robertson , He was Bird, Magic , and MJ put together Averaged a Triple / Double for his career
NHL - Wayne no arguments
NFL - Could name 1/2 dozen players , certainly not Brady at the top
MLB - Ruth / Griffey / very hard call with several others
Boxing - Ali was a trend setter and Icon , but Rocky Marciano with 49 straight wins no losses in the Heavy Weight Division
has to still be #1 , Roberto Duran with 41 Straight Wins and Championship Belts across many Divisions fighting a who's who of Boxers of his Era had a overall more impressive career than Ali, Floyd Mayweather like him or not is 50-0 and still actively planning fights, Julio Ceasar Chavez won 89 straight Professional Fights
Golf - Golden Bear
Soccer - Pele
Roberto Duran quit... a fighter who quits cannot be the greatest. Julio Chavez was great.
Floyd Mayweather should never be in the conversation imo... an unblemished record doesn't indicate the greatness of a fighter.

I've never been so sure of something with absolutely no proof to back up my position, but I find it hard to believe that Tyson wasn't juicing or on something crazy when he burst onto the scene circa 86--89. The man looked almost super human when he was landing some of those shots.

Funny you should say Wilt as I give strong consideration to Bill Russell

Since you put alot of emphasis on boxing I would like to throw out the Marvelous One. Marvelous Marvin Hagler
Football is a tough one I would be fine with Joe Montana or Jerry Rice Jim Brown and Walter Payton.
