That article is interesting. Police telling ABC7 one thing. Police Super calling ABC7 to tell something different.

Wonder if we have some politics at play here within the department. Worker bees know the truth, as does the brass, but two different approaches on how to handle. Of course the brass will win out, which likely means that assuming the truth is as it appears, he wasn't attacked and filed a false report, he won't be charged and it will just go away.

That was my point, the police have no good option here, and have to hope this goes away.

Any other course will cast them in a bad light, and they are very PR aware.

IF he made false statements and accusations.....and it certainly appears he did from what we know.......he SHOULD be charged. There may be more that we don't know that would change that stance.

I highly doubt he will be charged even if there is only more damning evidence that he lied.
