Wouldn't lynching already be against state laws everywhere?
Anyway, whatever doubt anyone had about this is just about eliminated, from what I can discern.

I'm glad that this is all blowing up in his face. I hope he offs himself.

This is not really about leaping to a conclusion. It is about perpetuating an ongoing narrative that whites, especially the kind who support Trump, are evil racists and that blacks, even millionaire celebrities, are victims of racism and violent white oppression.

Well, seeing as my flat butt, small taters comment was pegged the most insulting post of the new site (racial and gay pejoratives apparently all okay) I have to think wishing death may be a bit more hateful. Then again maybe not since he is gay.

This bill was in the works since June 2018. Its conception had nothing to do with Smollett although the "attack" was being used as a reason why the bill was necessary.

“As a victim of a hate crime who has cooperated with the police investigation, Jussie Smollett is angered and devastated by recent reports that the perpetrators are individuals he is familiar with," began a statement from Smollett attorneys Todd Pugh and Victor Henderson. "He has now been further victimized by claims attributed to these alleged perpetrators that Jussie played a role in his own attack. Nothing is further from the truth and anyone claiming otherwise is lying."
“One of these purported suspects was Jussieâ€s personal trainer who he hired to ready him physically for a music video," the statement continued. "It is impossible to believe that this person could have played a role in the crime against Jussie or would falsely claim Jussieâ€s complicity."

Plain red hats worn by brothers were purchased from an Uptown beauty supply store. @cbschicago Too bad the Nigerians didnâ€t use white face makeup. That would have been great.

You'd think that a professional "actor" could have easily hired a couple of White guys to play his attackers.

He nearly pulled it off anyway since people are so stupid and brainwashed to believe this nonsense. Just the mere suggestion that Trump supporters tried to "lynch" a poor innocent black man and we have a national media racism narrative that justifies the media's other anti-Trump narratives.  Just like the Covington Cath kids etc, etc.
