Yep. You got the artist, know the song?

Well, this question has been up long enough. I thought it was easier than that but I'm an old fart. Soup was right on the artist being REO Speedwagon. The song is from their second album T.W.O. The song is Like You Do. Put one up Soup.

This is from their live albumn in 1977.

Just a Trivia Question: No Lyrics makes it to easy

At the End of the Disco Era late 70's early 80's this Band put out a Album and the Name of the Album was also a Song on the Album not unusual .
Most Bands tour and would play the Title Song to their album in Concert as a feature Song of the tour.
However this Bands Lead Guitarist hated the Song and thought it was a sellout out to their " RocknRoll Reputation "
They didn't ever play this Song Live and in Concert until 33 Years later in 2013.
Name the Band and Title Song of the Album.

Shot in the dark here.  Gaucho by Steely Dan?

Fwiw, I think lyric questions are much harder than trivia questions.

Scarlet you are right.

This song has Mick's marketing savvy written all over it. Keith hated it and refused to play it Live for over 30 years.

A mild trick question (if you've never ever listened to anything alternative this might be hard, otherwise this is pretty straight forward) to ponder regarding band and song title:  Ok, these unclothed women ponder what they would do with a certain amount of money.  What's the name of the band, and how much money are they yapping about?

Song released in 1988.

This Ohio artist wrote a song which was covered to commercial and critical acclaim. It was one of another artistâ€s final hits released before his death, and the related music video is considered one of the greatest of all time by publications such as NME. The writer praised the deceased artistâ€s interpretation of the song for its "sincerity and meaning", going as far as to say "that song isn't mine anymore."

Name the writer, song, and dead guy.

I know the answer to Erhino's question. I want to see if BigDroppa does, too. The band formed and played it's 1st gig near/ in his hometown. I used to hang out in that area in HS. The dead dude is known by everybody on this board.

I also don't want to answer it because I suck at posting questions. Heck, Scar was able to answer my question. Tongue

Erhino - good post.
The America, and the American Military, that you once knew is gone.

This is funny, I was going to go with Johny Cash as well, but Rusty Cage.  Figured I'd take a chance that Chris Cornell was originally from Ohio.  Nope.
