These new hospitals will go a long way in treating infected patients. It would mean the patients are in appropriate facilities and medical staff will be safer. Right now, current hospitals are overwhelmed and the problem is that they are treating patients in facilities not designed for treating the infectious, so proper protocols cannot be followed. Â
Although it†s not spoken about very much, the key here is two fold, one, preventing cross infection with non-virus patients already in the hospital and to protect the medical staff. If the doc gets sick then they become a patient.Â

The Chinese are being substantially more transparent now than during the SARS event. And being more aggressive in treating the virus. It appears this virus is easier to get but it†s death rate is lower.Â
Keep in mind there is a political edge to the reporting that the Chinese are very sensitive about. This virus has not lead to distrust of their government, but instead it is leading to a wave of nationalism, pride in their government giving them what they believe is the real story and the government is doing the best possible job it can do.Â
So reports that don†t align with the government†s are seen not as truth but as stabs at the Chinese people.
