I have my own personal 18 ounce mug at this place.   Cool
6 beers at that size?  No way.

I agree even with a short drive home.  I will probably have two or three before coming home to eat and then have some bourbon.
Nice.  Have a great evening on St Patties DAY!!!![Image: emoji256.png]  Well, the day before anyway.

Thanks.  Doubt I will make it back out Sunday.  There is a super Irish pub I go to but Saint Patrick's Day is absolutely crazy there so I stay away.  Maybe next week after things settle down.  That is where I go to get my Fullers ESB on tap.

Getting ready to have my first beer of the day here in a few minutes.   Going to have some Eliot Ness and Sierra Nevada Torpedo.  I'm all out of the Columbus Brewery Bodhi and Uncle Rusty.

Columbus Brewery sounds like some great beer but they don't distribute in Kentucky.

If you make it to Cincy someday remember to pick up six or so of the ones I listed.   I put them up there highly.

On tap will be:

Zombie Dust  6.2 Pale Ale
Blot out the Sun 10.5 Imperial Stout
Von Munsthur   4.8 Pilsner
Cheer Team Ale  7.2 American IPA
Center Square    5.9 Peach Berliner Weisse
25 Million Dollar Man  6.5 Hazy IPA

Kind of a bust.  Had a Zombie Dust, which I thought was not as good as it was a couple of years ago.  Then tried some of the others as samples.  Totally unimpressed.  Decided to walk to a nearby sports pub for some Guiness before heading home to eat supper.  Drinking Larceny on ice now and glad to be home.  3 Floyds needs to step it up.  Sad

The prices of the beer they sell are really too high for me.

It was $6 for the Zombie Dust on tap.  Not that bad.  The Guiness I had was on special for $3.50 a pint.  Thanks to all the taxpayers for funding my pension and my decadent lifestyle.   Big Grin

Doesn't sound that decadent if you spent less than 10 bucks on beer.

Two of the Guiness, one Zombie Dust and of course $20 for the Larceny.  Plus picked up a new Glock today that I am sitting here dry firing and fondling while sipping the Larceny.

The difference in prices for wine versus Ohio here are roughly this, Kirkland has a Champagne under their name. In Cincy, it was $30, here it's $20. It's not really very good Champagne, but it's the real McCoy.

I'm saving quite a bit of money on my wine habit. Even better is when I don't drink any at all for a few days of course. I'm getting better at that. The wife gave up alcohol for Lent. She said there was a halfway point where she'd drink something.

We stopped off at Costco yesterday to pick up some photos for a funeral of my friend and the place was mobbed, bad idea to go on a weekend. Even on weekdays it's very busy. They have developed an incredible retail model. I should have bought more stock. My former analyst told me they liked it a lot, but thought it was too pricey.

The local mall in Buckhead is packed nearly every time we venture up that way. The death of retail may be slightly over sold.

We drove out quite a ways for my friend's service yesterday. It's amazing how far I can drive and still be in suburbia, 36 miles yesterday northwest. He had many hundreds show up for his service, the funeral home was packed and we were in a small room off to the side of the chapel, one of three, watching on TV. His brother in law is a missionary and gave a very interesting and solid eulogy relating to what we each do from here.

I forget the passage in the NT now, 2 Peter?

Speaking of sprawl, article says metro ATL is the size of New Jersey in area (not population). I digress.

Good night at the Dundee Tavern this evening.  Spoke with the owner for awhile while enjoying that excellent Dundee IPA brewed locally by Monnick Brewing.  Best IPA ever.  Cannot get away from it.   Good people trying to run a business in a liberal Democrat commie area with a local government that keeps raising their taxes. I hate Democrats and all the scum blood sucking groups who vote for them.

How are they raising taxes?   Property?
