I think the Jungle has a larger selection than Party Source.
We visited Hartford Family in Sonoma and were blown away by their Rose of Pinot Noir. It spends only 1.5 hours on the skins and had a delightful flavor and color, very pale pink. They are better known for pinot, and theirs is very good, but pricey. I'm having a case shipped back as they don't distribute their rose. More and more wineries are doing fine with limited distribution, they sale to members and on site and to selected restaurants and local wine stores. Regusci has done this. I had to get some more whilst I was there of course. The wife bought me a very nice hard sided wine suitcase which survived. I already had a cheaper "cube" that holds a dozen. The hard side looks like regular luggage and can be used that way as well. I'll probably use it for Europe and remove one side for clothes.

Thirsty Dog made some Christmas Ale for July and I found six for sale at Jungle Jim's in Cincinnati yesterday.

Between grilling, football and a friends birthday we got into some good bottles for Labor Day.
Van Winkle Lot B (12 year), a store pick Four Roses (Phil's Basement, OESV 10 year) and a 2018 Michter's Rye Single Barrel. Phil's Basement by far my favorite. Lot B just isn't worth the secondary market money to me. I'm not much of a Rye guy so it was for everyone else. Was a hell of a day!

Geesh, I bought too much wine in CA, if there is such a thing. I can't even unpack my wine suitcases and I have more arriving by shipment.
I only bought what they don't ship to retail, so it's stuff I can't buy here, but still ....  Regusci was giving me the 30% trade discount so .... I'm a sucker for discounts, and they don't retail now anywhere.

Went up to my local craft place to drink some beer and as usual they had some good stuff on draft. Had a Bell's Special Double Cream Stout for starters. Very nice chocolaty stout. I think it was a little over 6% abv and pretty smooth. Also had a good English style bitter from Fusion called Quark. While not in the same universe as Fullers, it was still very good.Â

OK. After a light supper I think it's a good time to clean out the liquor cabinet. I noticed there is Larceny, Eagle Rare, and Old Fitzgerald with small amounts left that need to go. Starting off with the Larceny.

I would think most stout drinkers would like it pretty well.

Eagle Rare is a good bottle for the money, and can find them anywhere.
A good store pick is worth finding. Iâ€ve got a few boxes of the 1.5mL picks stashed away. They make good gifts when going to friends for dinner. Most people just laugh at the size of the bottle

Several months ago I picked up a few bottles of McKenna Single Barrel, 10 year. I opened one, didn't much care for it. Went back to it last night and it tasted like I was eating a Band-Aid.
Somehow this stuff won Best in Show at World Spirits Competition...must've been a cherry barrel they selected. Mine isn't even drinkable https://kybourbon.com/henry-mckenna-sing...mpetition/

I had a bottle two or three years ago and found it to be ok but nothing really special. Still not sure what all the fuss is about. I would take the readily available Larceny over it all day long.

Had some draft tonight from Bircus Brewing out of Ludlow, Ky. (Northern Ky near Cinti). Had their Bearded Lady which is a Kolsch style and very, very light at about 5% abv.  Not something I normally would drink, but goes down very easy on a hot summer night.Â
