I don't think a Justice would say in public anything but nice stuff about a colleague.
The conservative Justices vote with the liberal Justices 70% of the time, and with each other only 90% of the time. I know folks get unhappy when a "con" appears to vote other than conservatively, but if you read their opinions, they usually make sense. Most folks want decisions that favor what they want instead of the law. |
