The meal thing isn't really a problem for me. They're offering kosher and halal because 38% of their students follow those diets. I see it as more cultural. Where it would be a problem to me is if a school went kosher or halal. There's a quite a difference there between that and having to school pushing a religion. The religion of the majority.
Problem with that argument is for 150 years the Jewish Population never got the same respect or treatment in schools for their culture .
No question liberals are hypocrites. That's a given.

What would constitute a public school pushing a religion?

Nevertheless, you're now rationalizing religious accommodations as "cultural". Using the same "cultural logic" in the classroom, tenets of faith should be taught vs just the history behind the religions whether Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, etc etc etc.

For the record, NYC did not have legislation to satisfy the religious dietary requirements of non-Muslims... until the pilot program to provide Kosher meals was introduced in 2018 despite New Yorkâ€s historically large Jewish population.

Liberals are hypocrites and they caved to the muslims after ignoring the Jews. No surprise. But to me it would be a problem if they said Halal is what you get regardless of who you are. If they're going to feed the kids accommodation for religious restrictions, allergies, choice like vegan seems reasonable. Personally I'd prefer parents feed their kids not the schools.
Sorry but it isn't comparable to the school sponsoring prayer.
Look it's settled law. It's over. It's been over for a long time. No school prayer end of story. Quit whining about it it's tiresome.
