No doubt it would get out of hand. The old adage be careful what you ask for comes to mind.

The main item in the article is how unclear the Constitution is on how such a Convention could operate, what boundaries it might have, and what it could do.

Unintended consequences comes to mind.

On one hand I think that we don't have the leadership these days to accomplish anything good with this....then I read about the original Constitutional Convention and realize that was a muddled mess at times as well.
