That is just beautiful. How can you hate on such artistic magnificence?

I really am not into poetry.....the only kind of poetry I like is Louis L'Amour and James Fenimore Cooper and they aren't even recognized as poets.....

but that crap is nonsense. We truly live in the "emperor has no clothes' stage of the Republic.

Some group gives out prizes for poetry and is apparently considering something rather unusual as being a candidate.

And, nobody really cares.

I have nominated you for a Pulitzer Prize.

I will push back a bit Cincy.....this wasn't Aunt Martha's poetry contest in Whereever, New Hampshire. This was a Pulitzer, which has some considerable clout in cultural circles. It is a barometer whether we give it value or not.

There is a move to intentionally deconstruct our society. I've been reading a bit on it in the last several months after a discussion I had with my nephew who is more in tune to such things. It's not necessarily political, while it does have political people who are in agreement with it.

I think this is indication of that movement.

I personally do not care who wins any Pulitzer. I might read briefly who won a science Nobel, maybe not. I don't care who wins the Heisman. I have lost interest in "awards" of this nature, can't think of one I really care about.
