Woodland face timed Amy after his win. Pretty cool of him.

DANGEROUS WHEN PROVOKED

Way to go WOodland, I have nothing against Brooks, but just didn't want to see him win, again.
As far as Tiger being done, he did win the Masters a few months ago. Was it a fluke? Maybe, but then again he won it. And looked pretty good on the back 9 yesterday. I think Jack's record is safe, but i do think he has more wins left in him. He just needs to not play so safe, it was very un-Tiger like. When he finally said F it, he played better.

What your last sentence or two says to me is that Tiger knows that the "TIGER" game is gone. So, he's trying to adjust and the adjusted game is just not good enough for consistently top golf, so he then goes by instinct, which releases the old game, but he knows that has issues too....just higher risk/reward.

I guess, but up until this weekend he still had the top, or at least top 5, Iron game going. His putting has been bad (which is usually the first thing to go in aging golfers), but on Thursday he putted great. He drove the ball well all weekend. I agree he isn't vintage Tiger, but no one could have sustained that, injury or not. I think the biggest question is, how many more wins would he have had at this point if not for his injuries? I bet it's lower than you think.

To expect that is unreasonable. Of course he wants to play like that, who wouldn't?

I'm just analyzing what's happening, not wishing for something that is gone.  Frankly I find the analyzing of behavior to be more interesting than following the game, especially in this case.

Guilty here, but i do find it funny that i, others, and the commentary, always have to wonder what "is wrong" with Tiger when he has a bad round. It could be nothing, Spieth had a horrible round. DJ had a horrible round, Thomas missed the cut, and no one ask those guys if they are sore, or sick, or what. Bad rounds happen in golf and it's a sport you lose a lot more than you win. At the end of the day, probably nothing wrong, just didn't win this week.

He did look like he just didn't care on that par 3 2nd shot though. I said exactly what the announcers said. What did he have to lose by trying a flop shot? Looked like he didn't care at that point of the round.
